<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform security measures against an illegal access from a source other than an authentic transmission source, such as by masquerading, in a control bus system using a Windows platform. <P>SOLUTION: In a control bus system that transmits a control communication packet between a control bus driver and a communication card using a Windows platform, the control bus driver is constituted by a protocol driver and a network driver, one of which functions as a transmitter and the other functions as a receiver. The transmitter includes means for generating and adding to a Windows frame a control communication flag to identify a transmission source and a time stamp.
