<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide systems, circuits and methods for software programmable logic using a spin transfer torque magnetoresistive random access memory technology. <P>SOLUTION: A programmable logic array comprises: magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ) devices; programmable sources coupled to the MTJ devices; and a write portion and a read portion. The read portion comprises a MUX driver configured to be set to a high impedance state during write operations. A first group of the MTJ devices are arranged into an input plane, and a second group of the MTJ devices are arranged into an output plane.
