<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a recording medium from coming into contact with an ink jetting area by bringing an area adjacent to the ink jetting area close to an arranging surface of the recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: An inkjet printer includes: an inkjet head 3 reciprocating in a scanning direction together with a carriage; and a conveying mechanism arranged below the inkjet head 3 and conveying recording paper P in a conveying direction along a conveying surface 8a. A head bottom surface 16 of a nozzle plate constituting a part of a channel unit 6 of the inkjet head 3 is curved to be concaved in a direction in which it separates from the conveying surface 8a. Then, the adjacent area 16b, which surrounds the whole periphery of the ink jetting area 16a of the head bottom surface 16 and where any nozzle 15 is not formed, is made shorter, in its distance to the conveying surface 8a, than that of the ink jetting area 16a which is located in the center part of the head bottom surface 16 and where a plurality of nozzles 15 are formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
