<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet capture device capable of capturing packets transmitted across a router and confirming the connection of a communication terminal subordinate to the router, and capable of suppressing the increase of a communication service charge and the reduction of the provision area thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A packet capture device 5 for capturing packets flowing through a network comprises: a WAN port 5A to which a global address is not assigned; a LAN port 5B to which a local address is assignable; a capture unit 52 for capturing through the WAN port 5A a first packet P1 which is a packet transmitted/received between the WAN side and the LAN side across a router 3; and a communication control unit 54 for transmitting/receiving through the LAN port 5B a second packet P2 which is a packet not traveling across the router 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
