The method (200) includes gathering metadata (214) from at least one discussion (300) involving at least one pre-defined user identity (104) on a first social network (102). The method (200) evaluates the metadata of at least one third party response (304) related to a posting (302) by the at least one pre-defined user identity (102). The at least one pre-defined user identity is authenticated based on the evaluated third party response. And an indication (324) of authentication for the at least one pre-defined user identity (102) is provided. The system (100) and method (200) may also permit bridging of the established authentication between different social networks. |
