The screwing tool (10) has a measuring unit for detecting absolute value of electric potential of an electric pole (16) which is connected with an electric conductor connected to other electric pole. A control unit (24) is provided for connecting the electric pole with the electric conductor through a screwing head portion (14) based on the detected absolute value of electric potential of electric pole of a battery cell (18). A probe tip (22) is connected with housing of the battery cell. An independent claim is included for a method for connecting electric poles of battery cells.
