The method involves region-wise applying of resilient chamber (3) on original model (2) via resilient wall (6). The resilient chamber is filled with gas (8) and deformable substance (7). The gas is evacuated from the resilient chamber so that the deformable substance in the resilient chamber and resilient wall are stabilized in shape and/or deformed. The shape of the original model is taken by resilient wall. An independent claim is included for device for producing negative-half mold of original model.
