<p>In this wireless communication system which is provided with a transmitter and a receiver, the receiver is provided with a signal-to-noise ratio calculation unit for calculating the signal-to-noise ratio of a baseband signal of a signal received from the transmitter, and an indication information generation unit for generating signal strength indication information indicating transmit power of the transmitter on the basis of a history of the signal-to-noise ratio which has been calculated by the signal-to-noise ratio calculation unit, wherein the transmitter is characterized in being provided with a transmission unit which controls the transmit power on the basis of the signal-to-noise ratio.</p> |
