<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode active material, a manufacturing method for the same, and a lithium ion capacitor including the same. <P>SOLUTION: A positive electrode active material has a surface with a porous structure, and inside the structure, has an amorphous structure in which a crystal phase does not exist. Since the positive electrode active material has the amorphous structure including no crystal lattice in a micro-region inside, intercalation of lithium ions in the positive electrode active material during pre-doping of a negative electrode can be suppressed. A lithium ion capacitor including the positive electrode active material having the structure as above can maintain the potential difference between the positive electrode and the negative electrode constant. Therefore, a high-capacity lithium ion capacitor storage element with high withstand voltage, high energy density, high input-output characteristic, and excellent high-speed charging and discharging cycle reliability can be manufactured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
