OPTICAL PROJECTION CONTROL APPARATUS, OPTICAL PROJECTION CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical projection control apparatus which is capable of easy correction of luminance even if images are taken from different view points by moving a camera, and allows obtaining images of an image quality equal to that obtained when a camera is fixed.

SOLUTION: An image input part 2 obtains image data from a camera 1. A reference image DB 3 holds four-sheets of sample images for luminance correction obtained by observation with the camera 1 at a reference position or attitude. A plane projection estimation part 4 obtains an image from the image input part 2 and estimates the position or attitude of the camera 1 using the image information. A luminance change estimation part 5 detects change in luminance caused by change in position or attitude and change in illumination and generates a sample image needed for calculation for luminance correction. A luminance correction part 6 corrects the output luminance of an image from a content DB 7 to be outputted to the projector 8, on the basis of the generated sample image.
