IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, IMAGE RECOGNITION DEVICE AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a widely applicable image processing system effective for automatizing stereo calibration necessary for stereo image recognition processing.

SOLUTION: The image processing system is configured comprising: an image obtaining section; a feature amount extracting section; a relationship detection section; and a calculation section. The image obtaining section obtains image data corresponding to a common imaging section from plural cameras. The feature amount extracting section calculates at least two plane patterns from the image data of each camera based on an identical actual image included in the common imaging section as feature amount information of the common imaging section. The relationship detection section detects a correspondence relationship between the image data of each camera in the two plane patterns. The calculation section calculates image conversion parameter information between the images of each camera based on the correspondence relationship information calculated by the relationship detection section.
