<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance device that transfers a sheet by two pairs of rollers to a position for treating the same, and can eliminate the action of back tension on a downstream roller without making the device larger. <P>SOLUTION: In the conveyance device that includes: an upstream roller delivering a sheet-like medium to be treated to a conveyance path; a downstream roller for supplying the delivered medium to a position for treating the same; and a control part controlling the drive of the upstream roller and downstream roller to cause the same to convey the medium to be treated at a constant speed, the control part determines the timing of starting the upstream roller and downstream roller upon starting their conveyance operation, based on the information relating to their behavior shown until the speed of conveying a sheet reaches the constant speed in the previous conveyance operation of the upstream roller and downstream roller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
