<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of reducing magnetic leakage flux when the ratio P/S of the number of poles and the number of slots is 4/3, in a permanent magnet synchronous rotary electric machine. <P>SOLUTION: In the rotary electric machine comprising a field element 12 using a buried magnet rotor, and an armature 14, the number n of permanent magnets 122 and the number of magnetic cores 142 in the armature 14 satisfy a relation n/m=4/3. When the central angle at which each pole face P1 occurring on the surface of the field element 12 facing the armature 14 spreads around the axis of rotation Q in the plan view from the direction of the rotation axis is a first angle θa, the central angle, i.e. a second angle θb, at which each flame 146 spreads around the axis of rotation Q in the plan view satisfies a relation 1.00≤θa/θb≤1.53. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
