<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a planting clutch from being disengaged by the action of negative torque, caused by the inertial force of a planting apparatus, on a power transmission mechanism in a rice transplanter having the rotary planting apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The planting apparatus 8 is mounted to a laterally long planting center shaft 91, and power is transmitted to the planting center shaft 91 from a planting transmission shaft 87 by a pair of bevel gears 98, 99. Backlash between the bevel gears 98, 99 is adjusted to positively impart frictional resistance between both bevel gears 98, 99. Even with the action of negative torque (acceleration in a normal rotating direction) caused by the inertial force of the planting apparatus 8, the disengagement of the planting clutch 49 can be prevented because a load works on the normal rotation of the planting transmission shaft 87 due to friction between the bevel gears 98, 99. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
