A disk brake device (1) is characterized in that it is equipped with a disk rotor (2) that rotates around a rotational axis, a friction pad (4) opposing the friction surface of the disk rotor (2), a caliper (5) capable of pressing the friction pad (4) against the friction surface of the disk rotor (2), a mounting (6) on which the caliper (5) is disposed, and a caliper slide mechanism (7) that supports the caliper (5) on the mounting (6) in a slidable manner via a slide pin (71) inserted into a guide part (75) provided in a hole part (62) on the caliper (5) or the mounting (6), with the caliper slide mechanism (7) having a variation mechanism (74) that varies the allowable pivot angle of the slide pin (71) with respect to the direction of the sliding movement in response to the braking operation accompanying the sliding movement of the caliper (5). Accordingly, the effect is that abnormal noise is suppressed with the disk brake device (1) and the caliper slide mechanism (7). |
