A carbon dioxide separation and recovery device comprises: a casing (2) having an internal space through which s gas to be treated containing carbon dioxide passes; a carbon dioxide adsorbent (3) disposed in the internal space in order to adsorb and thereby separate carbon dioxide from the gas to be treated that passes through the internal space; and a steam generation means (30) for generating and releasing, inside the internal space, steam for desorbing and recovering the carbon dioxide adsorbed on the carbon dioxide adsorbent (3).
