<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inductor having coil resistance with improved thermal stability, and to combine the inductor with a current detection resistor into an independent unit, thereby restraining a loss of power together with DCR of the inductor. <P>SOLUTION: The inductor comprises: an inductor body 12 having an upper face 14, and a first end face 18 and a second end face 20 opposed to each other; a hollow portion 28 penetrating between the opposed first and second end faces, and formed on the inductor body; and a thermally stable resistance element 30 provided through the hollow portion and bent toward an upper face to form an opposite surface mounting terminal.
