<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corium holding apparatus or the like in which the installation of a corium holding structure is facilitated without increasing installation costs. <P>SOLUTION: A corium holding apparatus 10A is configured by arranging a plurality of corium holding structures 20A and 20B. Each corium holding structure is a polyhedron which comprises a holding surface on which corium 4 is received and held, and cooling means which introduces inside a coolant with which the periphery of the cooling means per se is filled, and cools the overall apparatus by exchanging heat with the coolant, has at least a pair of parallel surfaces and includes a through hole 22 on a side surface 21 when it is disposed with a first surface that is one of the parallel surfaces as a bottom surface.
