<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air dome for a planetarium, having light shading property and reducing in weight. <P>SOLUTION: A dome screen for a full dome planetarium made of an air dome is provided with a mechanism which feeds air into the air dome by an air blower 3 to swell it, and a bottom surface of the dome screen is pressed by weights 8 arranged on inner and outer peripheries of a shade skirt, but is opened in its whole surface in order to reduce its weight. A mechanism is provided for controlling the amount of air blown by a controller, and a doorway is provided with a shade curtain 6 inside and the shade curtain is pressed against an inner wall of the dome by inner pressure to prevent light from entering the dome from the outside.
