<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress the formation of a micro-bending loss by preventing ultraviolet curable ink from being uncured when ultraviolet curable resin is used as a material for a colored layer. <P>SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing an optical fiber with an identification mark, identification marks 11 for the optical fiber identification are formed on the surface of a secondary layer 15 of an optical fiber 12, ultraviolet curable ink is coated on the identification marks 11, and the ultraviolet curable ink is cured by an ultraviolet irradiation device to manufacture an optical fiber 10 with the identification marks. The dose amount in the ultraviolet curable ink of ultraviolet light irradiated when the ultraviolet curable ink is cured is made to be 0.1 J/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>or more and 0.3 J/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
