<p>Provided is a management method for a recordable database management system having a hierarchical, multi-master node structure. A lower-order master node sends a shadow copy of a database thereof, a heap tuple map of the memory thereof, and a transaction minimum value as a write set. A higher-order master node which receives the write set uses the write set to update a database and also generate a transaction log if the transaction minimum value is equal to or greater than a cluster minimum value retained by the higher-order master node, and the higher-order master node aborts the write set if the transaction minimum value is less than the cluster minimum value. Furthermore, the higher-order master node notifies the lower-order master node of the cluster minimum value retained by the higher-order master node, and discards a transaction having a transaction minimum value that is less than said minimum value.</p> |
