<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the vibration of liquid in a liquid passage. <P>SOLUTION: Individual electrodes 123 and common electrodes 124 sandwich drive piezoelectric layers 121. Drive signals are supplied to clearances between the individual electrodes 123 and the common electrodes 124. The common electrodes 124 sandwich detection piezoelectric layers 122 with detection electrodes 125 at the side of a pressure chamber 16.
