<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce curl generated in a sheet end, and to execute a predetermined sheet bundle processing with respect to a sheet bundle while the sheet end is accurately aligned. <P>SOLUTION: A trailing edge pressing lever 110 aligns trailing edges of sheets stacked on a staple tray by striking the trailing edges on a trailing reference fence, and presses upper surfaces of the sheets near the sheet trailing edges of the sheet bundle to be movable in a sheet thickness direction, before the sheet bundle is bound using an end face binding stapler. The trailing edge pressing lever 110 includes: a first pressing part that presses a pressing start part, which has a specific distance from the sheet trailing edge by a top surface 112a when the sheet bundle is started to be pressed; and a second pressing part that presses a sheet upper surface closer to the sheet trailing edge than the pressing start part by a slope surface 112b following the first pressing part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
