<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a feed screw mechanism, which facilitates fixing a feed screw shaft on a screw shaft fixing member, in a feed screw mechanism of a nut member driving type, and also which enables the feed screw shaft to be fixed on a lower rail via an end bracket without causing the enlargement of the lower rail in a vehicle power seat device of the nut member driving type in particular. <P>SOLUTION: The feed screw mechanism satisfies the characteristics that: the end bracket for fixing the feed screw shaft and the screw shaft fixing member are positioned at least at one end of the feed screw shaft; the end bracket has a through-hole, through which the feed screw shaft can be passed without causing a relative rotation, and an inner engagement part, which can be engaged with an outer engagement part on the outer circumferential surface of the feed screw shaft, on at least a portion of inner surface of the through-hole; and it has a bracket fixing means, which fixes the end bracket on the screw shaft fixing member with the inner engagement part engaged with the outer engagement part of the feed screw shaft. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
