<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article carrying device capable of transferring articles without contacting the mutual articles, when carrying the articles carried in a plurality of rows on a first carrier conveyor device, while converting arrangement into one row by a second carrier conveyor device. <P>SOLUTION: This article carrying device includes the first carrier conveyor device 1 for carrying the article of a random state in the plurality of rows, the second carrier conveyor device 2 arranged on the carrying-out side of the first carrier conveyor device so as to cross the carrying direction in a predetermined space and carrying the articles by juxtaposing them in one row, and a third carrier conveyor device 3 arranged in the space, receiving the articles carried out of the first carrier conveyor device and delivering them to the second carrier conveyor device.
