摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of improving transmission performance of a base station communicating with a communication terminal, by controlling transmission directivity of a plurality of antennas. <P>SOLUTION: For each of a plurality of communication terminals, a radio resource allocator 122 sets the transmission signal frequency bandwidth of a known signal to be transmitted from each communication terminal to a minimum bandwidth out of a plurality of settable bandwidths. For a unit period including an uplink communication period for known signal transmission from the communication terminal and a plurality of downlink communication periods in which downlink communication is performed and which appear after the uplink communication period, a radio resource allocator 122 allocates a downlink radio resource that includes in the frequency direction a frequency band included in the transmission frequency band of the known signal and includes in a time direction a plurality of downlink communication periods included in the unit period, to a communication terminal that transmits the known signal in the uplink communication period included in the unit period, as a use downlink radio resource. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
