<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodynamic speaker which uses a tabular coil having a winding shaft direction orthogonal to a vibration direction of a speaker diaphragm, has an oblong shape, is excellent in a sound reproduction capability, and is suitable for being mounted on an apparatus such as a display. <P>SOLUTION: An electrodynamic speaker includes: a voice coil having a first coil, a second coil, and a third coil attached to one another; a speaker diaphragm connected to the voice coil; a magnetic circuit having a linear magnetic gap in which the voice coil is placed, a reinforcement plate which is accommodated in an inner peripheral space defined by an inner peripheral portion of the voice coil formed by an attachment of the first coil, a second coil, and a third coil to one another, and whose outer peripheral portion engages with the inner peripheral portion; and a movable portion extending from the reinforcement plate in such a way as to allow its vibration, and connecting to a frame or the magnetic circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
