<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-cycle engine capable of improving an output in an entire revolution zone while preventing overspeed by a simple structure, and an engine working machine provided with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The two-cycle engine 10 includes: a cylinder bore 8 which houses a piston 9 so as to be reciprocally movable and in which an exhaust opening 24 and a scavenge opening opened and closed, respectively, by the reciprocal movement of the piston 9 are formed at its inner peripheral wall 23; a recessed groove 29 for connecting the scavenge opening and the inside of a crank case 12 to each other; and a carburetor 19 for supplying a gaseous mixture obtained by mixing fuel and air; a cylinder block side first suction air passage 18 connecting the carburetor 19 and the recessed groove 29 to each other; a reed valve 40 for controlling the flow rate of the gaseous mixture flowing in the cylinder block side first suction air passage 18; and a controller 47 controlling the opening and closing of the reed valve 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
