<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce incorrect operation caused by mistakenly touching a key part disposed outside a display part of a touch panel by a user in operating the display part with the touch panel. <P>SOLUTION: A portable terminal includes: a display part; a touch panel that is disposed on the display part and a part extending from the display part outside the display part, and detects a position touched by a user on the display part and the part outside the display part; a key part that is disposed on the part outside the display part of the touch panel, and detects key depression through the touch panel; and a control part that exerts control so that a detected touch to the key part by the user is not processed as key depression on the key part when a touch by the user is detected through the touch panel in a detection area set at a part adjacent to the key part of the display part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
