<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate conveyance control method of a low cost component mounting line capable of stopping even a protruding substrate mounted a component such that the component protrudes from an end of the substrate at a mounting position and standby position of a component mounting machine accurately, and a substrate conveyance control device. <P>SOLUTION: A substrate conveyance control method of a component mounting line 1 in which a plurality of component mounting machines 2 to 4 are serially arranged includes: a protrusion amount calculation step for calculating respective protrusion amounts A1, A2 of components C1, C2 mounted on a substrate stopped at a mounting position in each component mounting machine 2, when the components protrude from an end of the substrate in a conveyance direction; a protrusion amount transfer step for sequentially transferring the protrusion amounts A1, A2 before sequentially conveying protruding substrates K4 to K6 to downstream side component mounting machines 3, 4; and a protruding substrate conveying step for conveying the protruding substrates K4 to K6 by distances L1A, L2A obtained by subtracting the protrusion amounts A1, A2 from predetermined distances L1, L2, respectively, at the downstream side component mounting machines 3, 4, and stopping the protruding substrates K4 to K6 at predetermined positions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
