<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal gasket inexpensive and having high sealing performance. <P>SOLUTION: The metal gasket 1 includes at least one metal gasket base plate 2 having an annular bead 14 along the perimeter of a cylinder hole 6. The annular bead 14 has a first bead part 20 comprising a pair of slanted walls 20a, 20b which respectively rise from the gasket base plate 2 and the tip portions of which are separated from each other, and a second bead part 21 valley-shaped in cross section, which protrudes from the tip portions of the slanted walls 20a, 20b to the side opposite to the rising direction of the slanted walls. Representing the height of the first bead part 20 as Fh1, the height of the second bead part 21 as Fh2, a half of the width of the annular bead 14 as W1, and the width of the second bead part 21 as W2, the relations Fh1>Fh2 and W1>W2 are satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
