<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product dispenser and a method for preventing fixing of a mold colony, the dispenser in which the mold barrier material eliminate fixing and continued reproduction of a microbial colony in the components of the product dispenser routinely exposed to fluids and foodstuff. <P>SOLUTION: A mold barrier material 160 for preventing fixing of a mold colony in a product dispenser 125 is used. The mold barrier material 160 adheres to a surface having a potential to be exposed to form an impenetrable boundary layer, and prevents permeation of a product errant from a normal route to a porous material not suited for product contact. When contacting the mold barrier material, the errant product moves downward. When the product dispenser and the mold barrier material are cleaned during cleaning work, residuals from the errant product can be removed.
