<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means capable of allowing a specific user to use authorized image forming apparatus only. <P>SOLUTION: A compound machine 1 comprises: means that receives inputs of user information necessary for authentication; means that transmits the user information input to a management server 2 and an identifier of an apparatus; means that receives an apparatus-use determination result from the management server 2; and means that displays a notification to the user when the received apparatus-use determination result does not permit the use of the apparatus. The management server 2 comprises: means that receives the user information and the apparatus identifier from the image forming apparatus; means that obtains user management information corresponding to the received user information; means that obtains an approved apparatus corresponding to authorization information included in the obtained user management information; means that collates the received apparatus identifier with the obtained usage-approved apparatus to generate an apparatus-use determination result including permission/no-permission of the use of the apparatus relevant to the apparatus identifier; and means that transmits the generated apparatus-use determination result to the compound machine 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
