<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active silencer that can reduce noise close to ears with high accuracy without providing an error microphone close to ears. <P>SOLUTION: A direct adaptive algorithm in which a transfer function is not needed to identify in advance is applied, and an adaptive filter C for a control signal is updated by the direct adaptive algorithm so as to make a virtual error zero at a silencing evaluation position 10 different from an error detection position where an error microphone 40 is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
