<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a parison length using the variation relative to parison from a linear sensor by linearly moving the sensor in parallel with the flow direction of the parison. <P>SOLUTION: The parison length measurement method and device use the plurality of linear sensors (60a) arranged in a position corresponding to the side surface (23) of the parison (22). Each linear sensor (60a) is moved in parallel with the flow direction (A) of the parison (22).
