<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet irradiation device capable of uniforming the ultraviolet intensity of ultraviolet emitted from an emission section to the terminal period of the life of an ultraviolet lamp. <P>SOLUTION: The ultraviolet irradiation device includes: the ultraviolet lamp 1; the emission section 2 emitting the ultraviolet from the ultraviolet lamp 1; the first shutter 4 arranged in an optical channel between the ultraviolet lamp 1 and the emission section 2 and capable of adjusting the ultraviolet quantity of the ultraviolet emitted from the emission section 2; an ultraviolet sensor 6 arranged between the ultraviolet lamp 1 and the first shutter 4 and detecting the ultraviolet intensity of the ultraviolet irradiated from the ultraviolet lamp 1; the second shutter 9 arranged in the optical channel between the ultraviolet lamp 1 and the first shutter 4 between the ultraviolet lamp 1 and the ultraviolet sensor 6, adjusting the ultraviolet quantity of the ultraviolet going from the ultraviolet lamp 1 to the emission section 2, and capable of changing the ultraviolet intensity of the ultraviolet; and a control section 7 controlling the second shutter 9 such that the ultraviolet intensity of the ultraviolet going from the ultraviolet lamp 1 to the emission section 2 becomes constant based on the ultraviolet intensity of the ultraviolet detected by the ultraviolet sensor 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
