ELECTRICALLY INSULATING OIL COMPOSITION HAVING EXCELLENT LOW-TEMPERATURE PROPERTIES

As an electrically insulating oil composition having excellent low-temperature properties, hydrogen gas absorbability and withstand voltage properties and having no adverse influence on living bodies, an electrically insulating oil composition is provided which contains [A] 1,1-diphenylethane in an amount of 30-70 mass%, [B] at least one component selected from four components, i.e., (a) 1-phenyl-1-methylphenylethane, (b) 1-phenyl-1-xylylethane, (c) 1-phenyl-1-ethylphenylethane and (d) benzyltoluene, in a total amount of 30-70 mass%, and [C] 1,2-diphenylethane in an amount of 0.1-2 mass% and/or diphenylmethane in an amount of 0.1-13 mass%.
