PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that conventional hydrogen fuel cells use a large amount of hydrogen, so that a large hydrogen storage vessel is needed and there exists a problem on reduced size and safety, and, in a type of a battery generating hydrogen in charge/discharge, hydrogen takes away an electric charge, so that charge/discharge efficiency may be reduced.
SOLUTION: A hybrid hydrogen fuel cell has a structure where hydrogen generated from a hydrogen generating battery (a battery that generates hydrogen in charge and/or in discharge) is consumed in a hydrogen fuel cell. In discharge, an electric charge is taken out from both of the hydrogen generating battery and the hydrogen fuel cell, and when the hydrogen generating battery is a secondary battery, the voltage of the hydrogen fuel cell can be utilized for charging in charge.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
