<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system capable of switching illumination manner. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting system is provided with: a light source; at least a pair of light guide plates, which have a pair of opposed plate surfaces and guide light from the light source by repeating internal reflection between the pair of plate surfaces; and an optical deflection surface which is installed on at least one of the pair of plate surfaces for every light guide plate and emits to the outside of the light guide plates by deflecting a part of light that internally reflects in the light guide plates. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
