<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas exchange valve of a combustion engine, particularly a diesel combustion engine including a poppet valve having a valve rod and a valve element. <P>SOLUTION: The valve rod is linearly movably guided in a through-hole of a valve rod guide, and a valve seat surface of the valve element cooperates with a valve seat ring, and thereby, in a closed state, the valve seat surface pushes the valve seat ring, and in an opened state, the valve seat surface is lifted from the valve seat ring. According to the present invention, at least one sliding ring made of a material having temperature resistance, for example, a metallic material or a ceramic material, engages with a notch of the valve rod or a notch of the valve rod guide, for sealing a clearance between the valve rod and the through-hole of the valve rod guide, and a thickness of one or respective sliding rings is set smaller than a width of the notch for engaging with the respective sliding rings, and as a result of it, when the valve rod moves, a lubricant passes through the respective sliding rings by the predetermined pump action. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
