<p>A mobile communication device for facilitating an electronic transaction between a first party, corresponding to a user of the device, and a second party, the device comprising: a memory for storing information corresponding to one or more transaction authorisation tickets, previously received over a communication link from a transaction server, each ticket being associated with unique identification data and providing a one-time authorisation for the user of the mobile communication device to enter into an electronic transaction; a user input interface for receiving at least one transaction parameter associated with a transaction between the first and the second party from the user of the mobile communication device; a code generator for generating a code corresponding to the transaction, the code including the unique identification data of one of said one or more transaction authorisation tickets and the transaction parameter; and an interface for communicating said code to another device to be forwarded to the transaction server, the authorisation ticket in combination with the at least one transaction parameter providing an instruction to the transaction server to process a payment from the first party to the second party. There is also provided an apparatus for receiving the code and forwarding the code to a server. Additionally, there is provided a server for processing the payment.</p> |
