Disclosed are a flow battery system and a repair device thereof. The repair device is used for cleaning the cell stack of a flow battery system, including: an acid liquor accumulator (11) for accumulating acid solution; a first acid liquor path tube (12) connected to a first end of the acid liquor accumulator (11) for connecting to a first end of the cell stack; a second acid liquor path tube (13) connected to a second end of the acid liquor accumulator (11) for connecting to a second end of the cell stack; and driving means (14) provided in the first acid liquor path tube (12) or second acid liquor path tube (13) for driving the acid solution in the acid liquor accumulator (11) such that the solution flows circularly in the first acid liquor path tube (12) and second acid liquor path tube (13). The present invention can clean the flow battery system conveniently and promptly so as to realize the self-repair of the flow battery, improve the running efficiency of the flow battery and prolong the service life of the flow battery system.
