<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add appropriate position information to image information even if a photographer is not conscious of an acquisition state of position information. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: imaging means for imaging a subject image and acquiring a photographed image; acquisition means for receiving a signal from an external device and acquiring present position information; addition means for adding the position information acquired by the acquisition means to the photographed image; detecting means for detecting a state of the imaging apparatus; and determining means for determining a moving amount of the imaging apparatus on the basis of a result of detection by the detecting means. When the determining means determines that the imaging apparatus moves by a prescribed amount until completion of acquisition of the position information by the acquisition means from imaging by the imaging means, the addition means does not add the position information to the photographed image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
