IMAGE DATA STORAGE SYSTEM, ORIGINAL READER AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a trouble of a user and to read remaining originals when a jam occurs in an automatic original feeder and the original which is thus damaged and cannot use the automatic original feeder occurs.

SOLUTION: An image data storage system includes: an image forming device 1a and a server device 10a. When the jam is detected while the plurality of originals are read at a first reading mode (ADF mode), the image forming device 1a receives a first reading instruction for continuing reading of the plurality of originals at the first reading mode by a first reading reception section 513. The first reading instruction is received and a second reading instruction for continuing the reading of the plurality of originals at a second reading mode (flat bed mode) after the reading of the plurality of originals is continued at the first reading mode is received by a second reading reception section 515. When the jam occurs while the plurality of originals are read at the first reading mode, the original where the jam occurs the last is read at the second reading mode.
