<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a crosslinked polyethylene pipe, capable of easily manufacturing the crosslinked polyethylene pipe with shape memory of a straight state, regardless of presence of a heat insulating material, and a cross-linking treatment device used for the manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: While one pipe joint 8 in a pair of two pipe joints 8 is supported on a slide joint support member 6a, and the other pipe joint 8 is supported on a fixed joint support member 7, with un-crosslinked pipe P1a connected between both pipe joints 8, water vapor is passed into the un-crosslinked pipe Pa1 from one pipe joint 8 toward the other pipe joint 8 to crosslink the un-crosslinked pipe P1a by the water vapor, and a support member body 61 of a slide joint support member 6a is slid in a heat extension/contraction direction according to a heat extension/contraction length of the un-cross-linked pipe P1a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
