<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which can easily mount and demount a connector, be thinned and reduce affections of noise in an electric connector for connecting a plurality of cables to a wiring board. <P>SOLUTION: An electric connector comprises an upper shell 10 consisting of a tabular conductive metal material; a housing holding a plurality of cables 4 and having a plurality of terminals electrically connected to a core wires of cables 4; and a lower shell consisting of a tabular conductive metal material, and is assembled by holding the housing by the upper shell and the lower shell. The upper shell 10 comprises a front wall piece 14 bent in a housing direction at a side opposed to a side where the cables 4 are led, and the front wall piece 14 comprises a projection part 15 projecting to outside of the connector 100 at the cable; and a hole 14c adjacent to the projection part 15.
