<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic contactor having a function of sensing the state of an input power supply, which supplies power to a power supply input end of the electromagnetic contactor, in real time, and to provide an electromagnetic contactor monitoring system which performs remote monitoring thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The electromagnetic contactor includes a state monitoring unit 300 which determines the state of an input power supply 100 on the basis of the input voltage of the input power supply 100 which supplies power to the electromagnetic contactor, and displays the state of the input power supply 100. The state of the input power supply which supplies power to the power supply input end of the electromagnetic contactor is sensed in real time and displayed. When an abnormality occurs in the input power supply to generate an undervoltage or an overvoltage, it is sensed in real time and notified to a user or the like, so that the user or the like can monitor from a remote place. Furthermore, a load is prevented from burning due to chattering that occurs in the electromagnetic contactor, a coil of the electromagnetic contactor is prevented from burning due to an overvoltage, and the loss that possibly occurs in a factory management system can be minimized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
