<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust heat recovery device that allows smooth branching and flowing of exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust heat recovery device 10 has the following configuration in order to allow smooth flowing of exhaust gas. A branching part 12 is formed with a diameter expanding part 33 expanded from the base end 29a of an inlet 29 toward the circumferential direction of the inlet 29 so that the branching part is set to have a diameter larger than the diameter of an introduction pipe 11. A first flow passage 14 is connected to the branching part 12 via a diameter reducing pipe 13. A wall 46 of the diameter reducing pipe 13 connects from the branching part 12 to the first flow passage 14 in a tapered shape in a cross-sectional view. Even when exhaust gas is introduced obliquely to the central axis 42 of the first flow passage 14, it allows the exhaust gas to smoothly flow into the first flow passage 14 without increasing the pressure of the branching part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
