<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique regarding a medical guide wire comprising a coil spring having high tensile break strength by clarifying correlation between a joining form inside the welding junction of a coil spring body comprising a single wire of a radiopaque wire and a radiotransparent wire and mechanical strength characteristics of the wire. <P>SOLUTION: The radiopaque wire and the radiotransparent wire before and after diameter reducing and wire drawing work of a single wire have a difference in the tensile break strength in a fixed range, and a transition area where the tensile break strength is reversed in the middle of the diameter reducing the wire drawing work is provided. Thus, the coil spring body having a junction with the high tensile break strength and high strength is obtained, and the medical guide wire with improved repetitive rotating operation resistant characteristics is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
