<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of detecting a reflection signal of a puncture needle reflected in a direction out of a probe and appropriately visualizing the puncture needle thereby. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus related to one embodiment transmits a transmission beam corresponding to a prescribed transmission direction and a prescribed transmission focus from the ultrasonic probe, generates at least two receiving beams corresponding to at least two receiving directions different from the transmission direction, calculates a position of a prescribed reflector existent within a transmitted region to which the transmission beam is transmitted and an echo signal from the reflector by using the at least two receiving beams, generates a first ultrasonic image of the visualized reflector by using the calculated position of the reflector and echo signal, and displays the first ultrasonic image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
